Sorry we don't yet have any hard info on this thing, but you know what a front-facing camera means, right? Say hi to the 3G MOTORIZR (or RIZR, if you will), the Z8.
I would guess that the menu on the side is because this runs a different, non-motorola, OS. I would guess that it runs symbian based on the non-bounded soft-keys and the before mentioned menu button.
Hopefully the 3GSM announcements have proved that this is not a fake.
It runs the UIQ platform based upon Symbian OS - and it is extremely slick. Trying to play with one at the show was damn nigh impossible because of the interest.
I like touch-screen phones, but I want one of these!
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
Does this sport the new Motorola UI?
Does 3G mean Cingular will support it?
Please say this will finally roll out Moto's new interface!! We've been waiting forever....
FAKE!
motorola doesn't put the menu key on the side!
Another asinine "slider" phone. When will this desperate, inept attempt to be different go away?
Motorola should spend less time dicking around with failed dead-end designs and more time FIXING ITS PATHETIC OS and ergonomics.
#4:
my Razr V3m has a key layout just like the one pictured above.

I thought Moto was going to do away with the stupid 4 line menu button?
eh just looks like another phone to me
Goody
meh. i like the layout. hate the color. i want something glossy. and something without hideous neon green. how 90s.
A front facing camera, if I read the blurb right, means *video phone* you whining bunch of "the button shouldn't be there" llamas.
