No major company on the market today offers you a trade discount and to be honest, Verizon is one of if not the best in terms of giving discounts for upgrades. If you ask customer service, you might be eligible to get an early upgrade which would give you the new 2 year pricing for the new Q but come on, let's not complain that you won't get any money back for a device you haven't even had for a full year.
