Is this the Motorola Q2?
Let's all breathe a collective sigh of relief here; we were inclined to think that the "Norman" (their name, not ours) was going to end up becoming the Q2, but a HowardForums member has hooked the world up with something that looks far more refined, and... well, 2007. To be fair, the original Norman picture could've been an early prototype that has since gone back for retooling because the newer picture seems to carry over some elements -- the shape of the d-pad, for example -- while offering up a more rounded exterior (that doesn't look like it was penned by a designer who wasn't loved as a child), a better keypad, and a nifty two-tone scheme. Of course, we won't know the lowdown with certainty until 3GSM next month, but this one looks more believable, no?

No This Is Part Of The Keeping It Real Fake series my friends its ugly and definitely wouldn't be the Q2.
Verizon list the Q2 as the black Q on their order forms
Ugly? That is not ugly, and sitting next to the original Q it looks 10 times better.
I agree with elgee02. It looks spades better than the CDMA Q. If it had WiFi I would buy it over the Q.
lol, I meant I would buy over the Dash....such a newb
Yes that is ugly as hell....5 dollars says it looks totally different come 3GSM
Amazing how some think this looks better, as well as different than the black norman pics.
Everyone has their opinion and taste, but ... lol
The pure black norman (except for the ugly grey borders around the screen) looks FAR better than this ugly, DULL grey, two tone proto.
The lines are almost exactly the same as the norman! Everything is the same except the ugly colors (you would prefer that nasty dull crap to pure glossy black? lol.. okay, it's yours! I don't want it.) and the fact that the keyboard keys are convex, have different lettering size, and the letters are white instead of red. Oh yeah, and also the directional thumbpad looks more glossy and metallic, and the "white divider lines" amongst those nasty soft keys (that they should have banned a year ago) are moved.
