We came by a few "wild" shots of Samsung's i760 -- it's finally powered on and we can finally confirm it's running Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Unfortunately, it looks like they've yet to fix that godawful frontal-key layout (call and end on the sides? no Windows and ok button? are you kidding?). Judge for yourself in the photos, friends. Coming soon to a Verizon-covered neighborhood near you.
Um guys...the windows and OK keys are on the side of the phone. right above the camera key. Probably not the best place for them, but at least they are there...
I actually like the layout. The extra keypad for just the numbers is a nice touch. I do not see a key underneath the unlock button so I assume it is touch screen?
I have the i730 and the phone's features are great. The battery life is just atrocious and it is rather large. Other than the standard "not quite there yet" physical issues its great. It has the send and call button on the bottom, although the sides seems reasonable.
I really really like this phone. I have the HTC Apache and this is by far the best PPC phone i've ever had except for the fact that with sprint, you can't send pictures.
This Samsung will be a PPC so it will have touchscreen.
I dont use the keyboard on my Apache but i use the phone pad touch feature for the T9 typing... I dont think i'll use the keypad on this samsung but its great to finally have a PPC that is not a fliphone, that also has the ketpad on the outside... I haven't been able to confirm if this will run on Crossbow so if anyone knows, please reply to this or post a review about it...
I'm waiting for either this or the VOX... still undecided....

Does anyone know if this is coming out before Q2? I really want to get my hands on this one when my contract comes up in APril
