Samsung WiBro handset sports RSS button?
We can't 100% guarantee this is for real, but Kosso over at NokLog snapped a pic at 3GSM this week of what appears to be a Samsung WiBro handset with a dedicated RSS button. Yeah, you read that right -- an RSS button. We're as crazy about this RSS stuff as you can get, but an entire button just for accessing your handset's feed reader? Then again, we are hitting the feeds these days as often as we check email, and we definitely don't mind having a phone with a dedicated email button. Anyone recognize this thing or know its model number?

UPDATE: It's legit, the handset is the SPH-M8100.

i'd certainly like that. my google reader is my most important firefox tab at home, being able to catch my feeds on the go would be awesome.

It is the SPH-M8100 which "allows users to have access to data at the speed of up to 20mbps while they are aboard of a car moving at 60km/h. It means you can actually various kinds of IP-based service including VoIP, voice call, push-to-all service, VOD, RSS and etc. in real time. It also supports T-DMB and TV-out."
Of all the things I never expected to see on a mobile phone an RSS button was is somewhere near the top. What a neat idea now though. I have to wonder if the normal public would ever jump in it, but tech savvys will luuurrvve this addition to their handsets me thinks :)

I should probably also mention that I have a worry about just how this will work on the phone. If you can assign it to an application of your choice, then great, but if you are stuck with some lame rss reader from the network, then this is not that exciting anymore. :(
