Samsung's S-SIM now supports MMC and dual-USB support
We've been waiting for that super-chip that combines, you know, all the things we need in a mobile -- SIM, phone memory and USB 2.0 support. Samsung's new-n-improved SIMs will now support the MultiMediaCard format (MMC) as well as the USB 2.0 and InterChip-USB interfaces for mobiles. The dual standard is to give handset makers flexibility in the transition as they decide which USB interface will make the grade. The S-SIM -- as it's been called -- auto-configures based on what it detects in the handset. We really do fancy that newest SIM with 1GB of storage right onboard. Now all we need are the handsets en masse.

This is great! What took so long? I've heard of these high capacity sims for almost 2 years now. I hate the 250 number capcity and 30 txt msg on the crappy SIM cards of today. Please get these into handsets ASAP.
Now I've known about the the higher capacity SIM's for some time now. But I've never heard of "Dual USB" Is that a mis-print of some kind?
