"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
if i'm not mistaken, this is the first time VK has gotten FCC approval for a GSM handset. and maybe it's a swivel phone, maybe even an updated version of the VK 650 (the GSM phone in korea that was/is identical on the outside to the Kickflip) or just a way for VK to get their name known in the US before a more full-on launch. Like how Pantech (also Korean) only released one phone with their name on it and a few re-branded phones that they OEM'ed (coincidentally, one of them by Helio) before a full-on US release.
if it was CDMA, I would say Helio, but it's not, so nobody knows until an official announcement is made, or if a service provider got their name stamped on the FCC's test sample, whenever photos of the front of the phone are released.
