I have this phone (v3xx) in gray from AT&T. I only got it for the HSPDA and it was so cheap ($79) but I was so pleased with it, it's become my primary phone. I know they took out the 2nd camera but to be honest, I can't complain since I'd never use it in the states (since NO carrier supports it). I rather it didn't have the second camera and they drop the price to $79 instead of probably $250. If you live in a 3G area this is an awesome phone. Cingular Video has a great free collection. (if you have unlimitted data). I kill time by watching Daily Show (updated daily) or some South Park. The ONLY gripe i have about this phone is that it doesn't play videos at 320x240 even though it's a 320x240 screen. but i have my iriver clix for that or swap back to my MotoMING A1200
But even so, 3.5G is so smooth, it's no longer silly to start using my phone for internet uses like facebook, google, engadgetmobile reading, MSN messenger (yes via packet data not txt msgs).
@tim, AT&T doesn't cripple phones, that's Verizon. if you want to have video calling (which is USELESS right now in the USA) then buy the europeon version for at least $200 more. $79 is a sweet price.
“The HD2 is a magnificent monster. It is a hulking, intimidating, massive slab of a gadget. If you think the device looks big in photos, it's nothing compared to how it seems up close.”
