Pre-order LG AX8600s coming in new colors from Alltel

Alltel likes colors, from gloss black to fire red -- so it's no wonder that one of the handset staples in its inventory is getting new skins for all kinds of personalities and tastes. The LG AX8600 is apparently Update, 2-27-07, 12:02pm CST: Alltel's page with the newly-colored AX8600s is up now. Hopefully it stays there (Thanks Brent!)

I think that I saw this phone in the new alltel commercial for text messages and chad is holding it in green. Its kinda hard to see but I think thats what phone it is.
Heres an update: The AX8600 will be available in three colors which are blue, green, and a sandy color. Alltel stores are allready starting to recieve the blue version and accesories for the phone heres a picture of all three colors:

@1: I knew I wasn't crazy. Yeah, that's definitely the 8600 he's got on him. Ugly green, though.
We got our blue, green and the gold color in the store today...
On the links I found today they are saying the AX8600 is tri-mode. Any truth to that?
it's weird i called alltel today and asked when they are officially going to release the lg 8600 but the lady only said sometime soon. but this link already says its out. some one help me im confused, when can i buy it

Even though we have ours in the store we dont know when we can officially start selling them.
the launch date has now been post poned til the 22nd for the 8600.
