Is this depiction of the redundantly-named
Moto Q q9 in AT&T livery utterly Photoshoppable? Yes; but is the idea of the q9 coming to AT&T completely believable, too? Yeah, we'd say so. This hot little image, while grainy, clearly shows that stylized new-style "globe" logo we've been seeing
as of late on its rear and bottom -- and with support for 3.6Mbps HSDPA data, GPS navigation, Windows Mobile 6, and
Opera out of the box, we're just fine with this turning out to be legit. The tipster tells us that it won't be called the Q when it comes to the US' largest GSM network, though whether it retains the "q9" branding remains to be seen -- as does a release date. We suppose we can bide our time with an Amoi-sourced
SMT5700 while we wait.
[Thanks, anonymous tipster]
Honestly... Where else would this thing land...T-mobile...
Actually...Yes. There was a variant created for operation on T-Mobile's new AWS 1700 Spectrum Band. However, we all just knew that Cingular would be the first carrier.
If at&t gets this by June I'll be all over it.
Still no Q version without a camera? The boys at MOT are still wondering why they cant mass sell these to Corporations/Government. Mean while RIM laughs all the way to the bank with only 2 models in it's current lineup.
Yeah, I might jump ship from Verizon for this. Only because I need a GSM phone for international use.
I was at Cingular trade event the other day and i talked to the MOTO rep and he said the phone would be out around June, running Windows 6, the unit had a good screen, looks a slightly thinner than Qs for Sprint and Verizon. The camera didnt work but the device looks very promising.

dude .. you really are kiddin right ?
that is saying TV and the icon itself is a TV .. its probably some WM6 TV application cos its in the application line up with opera, windows mobile media player and such stuff ..
the Cingular or Now in fact AT&T would probably somewhere else on the screen .. but since there aint even a sim card inserted that wouldn't be on the screen anyway ..
Here is the link to the Motorola Q Global (as it is called by AT&T).
