What source says it has Rev. 0? Neither your Wired link, Aving link, nor a quick Google search state anything more than "CDMA EVDO".
"Get microSD in there"
Why would you want a microSD slot? It's more expensive, it holds less data, and there's no reason for the chip to be that small if there's room for mini or full SD.
