We feel like we can barely tell the difference between the white
KRZR from Moto and the original gray -- especially if you squint your eyes a bit -- but choice is always good nonetheless, and to that end Telus has added the paler variant to its lineup. Going toe to toe with the K1m in the high-fashion game, Samsung's u510 has also found its way onto the CDMA carrier (
look familiar?) with a 220 x 176 display, 1.3 megapixel cam, microSD slot -- something its Helio doppelganger lacks -- and touch-sensitive controls. Grab your white KRZR for the same price as its grayer counterpart, $149 CDN -- or a u510 for $50 CDN less, $100, both on a three-year agreement.
[Thanks, Jay]

who cares its cdma! quit developing for redundant carriers and maybe n.america will have a chance to catch up to its european counterparts. quit looking at the dollar sign and start looking at hardware superiority and carrier customer service. telus is crap in every sector of the tech market.
3 year contract! Thats just plain wrong, 1 year contracts are much better considering you get a new phone every year. If you got the white KRZR within a year or two the ∞zr would be out, and you would be so passe.
CDMA gives me a hardon just thinking about it. I love my Verizon service and if you mean "superior" as in At&t and T-mobile then let me laugh your ass out of the building.
Verizon call quality cannot be beat. period.
"What's a doppelganger?"
"... ... ... I'm Brian Fellow!"
Aarg, I thought Helio's devices were supposed to be exclusive! (>_
The Heat is esclusive in the US, not Canada.
And there are many of us out there who prefer the superior coverage, superior call quality, and superior 3G footprint of CDMA when compared to GSM in the US.
Anyway, Jason Brown, if you want an advanced GSM phone, all you have to do is buy it off of ebay and pop in your sim card. Do us all a favor and stop starting fanboy flaming sessions a la Coke vs Pepsi or PS3 vs Xbox360. Just go buy your $1000 Nokia phone, be happy with it, and shut up.
