I just had a "hands-on" with the lovely vox, what Telus has dubbed the S720. As always HTC has produced a finely crafted piece of hardware and there is no doubt that I would jump on this, except for two reasons. The first,…well the prospect of a three year Telus contract simply gives me the willies. Much better to purchase the vox outright and then "pay as you go" you say?. Problem is that the vox on Telus has also had the wireless disabled, why oh why did Telus do that???
If you like the vox, get down to a Telus store and and feel it for yourself. Then buy the GSM version (Wi-Fi enabled) on eXpansys and grab a card from your fave provider.
