I've been trying to order the phone since 12AM this morning, and I get the same error message when I try to add a line to my account. They duplicated the issue and put a trouble ticket out for the website, and I'm unable to order the phone until A) They fix the website or B) until April 16th when it hits the stores. That really pisses me off.

For those of you who didn't know, LG and Samsung are Korean companies and Korea uses CDMA. Which is why Verizon will get the phone first. What's really shocking is that I don't see the menu plastered in red. Bad pic? or is Verizon not forcing red now?

It's not "plastered in red" because it is one of the phones to use Verizon's new Flash UI themes.

has anyone heard how good this phone is? I had an LG once and it was a great phone... not like the lag that my current rzr has. I want a phone that is as slick as the rzr but doesn't act like a pile... this phone looks really good.

What is different about the menu? Is it the phones menu or is verizon rolling out another great OS to restrict their phones even more?

to every teenaged girl...that liked the pink moto razr v3c-m..congradulations verizons had a awsome exprence selling millions of the pink v3m&v3c..that theyre talking LG into exclusivly making a pink LG VX8700 the same pink as the moto razr v3m but just more shinier IT WILL BE HITING SHELVES for mothers day just like the pink moto razr v3c did a year ago!!

MID-2007 LG will be prepping the LG VX8700i
will external music controls and new colors soo if your going to waste your upgrade for the VX8700 i'd wait till the VX8700i which will have external music controls and colors such as baby blue,pink & black

Ivan, where did you get the info about the VX8700i? Are you 100% sure? I googled it and found nothing. I was going to get the VX8700 next month (with the new two after two). But if they're definitely coming out with the VX8700i mid-2007, I would rather wait. Do you have any links? Any info would be great. thanks!

IM NOT SO HAPPY WITH THE PHONE!!! I have been waiting for this phone to come out for months. Dont get me wrong the phone looks great and the program is great...but yet again lg head set is terrible. When the phone rings it sounds like crap, when i put the phone is on speaker it sounds like crap. Im going to give the phone back and get the moto maxx.

Does anyone know if this phone will be released on a GSM network so can use in UK?
I think its gorgeous...typical only phone I have loved look of and I cant get it!!
