Treo 755p coming to Verizon?

We didn't think Sprint would have the spotlight with the latest CDMA Treo for long, and it turns out we were right. Our pal HTC Kid over at Verizon tells us that the new #1 is planning to release its own Treo 755p variant shortly. Feature lineup appears to be similar (except possibly some LBS), but for the forgetful among us, we'll give them to you again -- dual-band CDMA with EV-DO Rev. A, a 1.3 megapixel shooter, and what appears to be a sleeker, refined look a la Treo 680. Make sure you stay tuned for more details.[Thanks, HTC Kid]
Verizon got a lot spotlight when it became the first to carry the first Windows Mobile Treo. Sprint is already scheduling the new 755p to be out on 5/14. I haven't heard any definite dates for 755p's release on Verizon. Verizon might be just a few months behind Sprint when it comes to Palm powered Treo, just like they did with the 700p.
I know this is slightly off topic, but I must.
I mean, the Treo is nice and all, but what ever happened to the HTC Libra/UTStarcom 5800? Huh?

A brand-new Treo with an OS originally designed in the early 90's? No thanks. I'll stick with my Windows Mobile Smartphone thankyouverymuch.
Revision A? Where did you guys get that? Color me skeptical.
Verizon plans on launching the Treo 755p on May 9th. If it makes that day, I don't know. But so far so good.
Glad to see the Palm OS is not dead. I have tried to use my wife's Q and it drives me nuts. Windows mobile is a mess, I want the zen of Palm. And stereo bluetooth, please. I can't wait for Verizon to get the 755P released...
Bill obviously hasn't spent much time on the Palm OS. I've been using a Verizon UT Starcomm 6700 for a few months and am amazed they're still selling these things. It's incredibly slow switching between apps. There's absolutely no consistency in button use. I have to reset the thing about every third day. The camera has about a 1 second delay in actually taking a picture after hitting the button. Absolutely the only thing I like about it is the built-in WiFi, otherwise, my aging T2 runs circles around this thing.
Is May 9 really the realease date for the 755p??? I am planning on purchasing a Treo and was going to just get the 700p since I heard that the 755 wouldn't be out until the fall.
What is the status of this? It is now October. I need a 755p but cannot/will not move to Sprint from Verizon.

Spoke with a Verizon store associate today in San Francisco. Work is that they are targeting the 20th of November but it's not certain.
Talked to a people at a few other places this week and it sounds like it won't come out until the end of December or later.
