LG CU575 for AT&T drops by FCC
We saw this hot little number all up in the CTIA's business a few weeks back, and sho' nuff, it's the FCC's turn to check it out (wow, how often is it that we see a phone before the FCC does?). A worthy upgrade to the CU500? Yeah, we'd say so; details are still disappointingly slim, but we can assume HSDPA, Video Share, and comprehensive media support (on account of the touch strip external control) are all in the cards. Now let us relish in the moment of our pre-FCC scoopage while you go check out the documents, will ya?

I have seen this phone in person I am an employee of AT&T, and the phone is in silver with AT&T badging and it is incredibly fast on the internet with HSDPA which will go into full effect around August. Also the phone is in credibly thin and it has some sort of touch mp3 player on the outside. The guy who had it also told me that the video talk is still very rough and will be delayed for a while.
Video TALK or Video Sharing?
If you look at the "Test Report" this document clearly indicates that there is HSDPA and they tested it up to 12 Mbit, so one can assume this is a 14 Mbit-ready HSDPA device. Another document says that it is a Dual-band HSDPA device.
So when is it going to be out? I'be been waiting for something newer than the Blackjack or Sync for my next upgrade.
