Palm Treo 755p review roundup
Despite offering little more than a mild refresh to its already-ancient predecessor, initial reviews of Palm's latest and greatest Garnet device have been overwhelmingly positive. The same Palm OS niggles of old are still there -- the lack of multitasking capability is pretty hard to swallow at this point -- but for business users looking for familiarity and a time-tested formula, the platform simply can't be beat. Call quality and signal strength both seem to be quite good, a larger battery adds a wee bit of weight in exchange for improved standby and talk times, and the absence of an aerial is a welcome change that makes the Treo's overall design appear marginally less dated. If WiFi isn't a priority (keep in mind EV-DO picks up some of that slack), it looks like the 755p might be a great way for folks to get in on what'll likely be one of Garnet's last hurrahs.Read - MobileTechReview (4 / 5 stars, "Another update to an already strong smartphone...")

Nice thing about palms is they love outside apps.
If you want stereo bluetooth on your palm, you can download a program that will give it to you here:

works fine.
My Treo 755p would reset intermittently. Found out from Tech support that this is a not so well known problem with this model that when the Bluetooth is enabled the 755p will reset intermittently. This will happen during phone calls, syncing or at any time or function of the phone. Great phone if not for this problem for which there is no known fix as yet. Man... I like this phone if not for that problem.
I have used Palm/ Visor products since they were introduced and really liked them. Until I got a 755p. This thing is fairly useless. I have spent WAY too much time trying to make it work. It locks up constantly and requires multiple re-boots, EVERY DAY!
If you are considering buying one of these roaches, I suggest you RUN AWAY and DO NOT LOOK BACK.
Seriously, this device is JUNK!
If you tried a program on your computer, and it crashed the computer, would you blame the computer?
You should try and determine which program or conflict between programs is causing the resets, and either run them from the memory card or remove the offending program.
No stereo Bluetooth? Crazy!
I have been waiting for a palm Treao with stereo bluetooth for years, and still nothing. This makes me mad...Grrr.
I can't set up my e-mail to go to my 755 Treo with Alltel. I went to the instructions but the website they say to go to is not responding?!?! Please help
