I, too, am a 6230 user who looks forward to this phone as an obvious upgrade. I've been following it around and there's been no news of US release anywhere. It's a good sign that it's had a North American pickup at all, though. If you look at the current Nokia options on Cingular/AT&T and T-Mobile's sites, most of them are either flip-phones or smartphones (in fact only the 6030 on T-Mobile is a bar-phone). I get the sense that Nokia doesn't like the carriers in the US market - and I don't blame them... but I still want access to good phones. I might have to break down and buy an unlocked 6300.
