The LG SV300 "Wine Phone"

What exactly makes this a "Wine Phone," we're not sure -- but then again, when you think about it, there isn't anything about the original Chocolate that makes it chocolatey, either. The SV300 looks to be a Korea-only special (for now, anyway) with a 2.2 inch display, media player, and cam of unknown resolution -- pretty unremarkable specs, even by fashionphone standards. Look for it in red (kind of wine-like, we suppose) or black (not so much) this week from Korea's SK Telecom and LG Telecom for 300,000 won, about $322.

Man, that's a nice looking phone. Pity we have to admire it from afar, though (well, I live in China- we seem to get quite a few of the otherwise Korea-only models so I'll wait and see). I thought that the point of Helio was to bring over phones like these- or are they too focused on the Myspace crowd? I long for the era where at least one Korean phone release per 2 months is posted here with "This will be coming to Helio (or Verizon/Sprint, I'm not picky) as the ..."

that phone was made for targeting late 30's-40's....bigger screen and bigger button for older generation who just want simple functions...
