Instead of
tracking kids with cellphones, some folks in South Korea want to track those caught fish. That's right -- SK Telecom is enabling fishermen to keep tabs on the fish they're trolling for using a float-shaped ultrasonic transmitter tethered to a cellphone and a fishing line. The phone then shows the lowdown on just what's happening underseas, including water depth and fish location. Should be an interesting niche for
SK Telecom to recruit the high-tech fisherman that was just waiting for a solution like this.
Just make sure those fishermen "don't call it a phone." ;D
Yes, but hope that Helio doesn't start selling this; else "don't call it a phone" will have the comeback of "yeah, it's a fish-tracker!"
Nice - hope in future no need to visit the market to buy a fish. Possible to catch a fish easily.
Haha... no, I was referencing the Helio commercial with the whale... :D
But that would be something if Helio decided to include this technology in their handsets:
"We're for passionate, young, tech-saavy consumers... who like fishing."
Just dont' drop the phone in the water ;D
