ASUS M530W in pictures and video
Though it's taken a little heat for me-too styling, the M530W "Aries" from ASUS is still a strong contender in its market segment thanks largely to two key features: Windows Mobile 6 Standard and HSDPA. Ahead of a scheduled July debut, PDAFrance spent some quality time with the device, giving it a thorough rundown in both still and moving pictures. How thorough? The video clocks in at nearly nine minutes; yeah, it's in French, but eye candy is eye candy. If nothing else, it's helpful to see the M530W presented alongside its inspiration HTC's Excalibur for the cross-shoppers out there.

A quick translation, if this can help:
Asus'first non-PDA WinMob device, the M530W will be available mid-July in Europe. It is Wifi & Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP). They say its CPU is the most powerful to date (in a smartphone, not a PDA): a Marvel PXA270 @ 416Mhz. They like the finish a lot, the thumb-board looks good (they can't tell if it's back-lit, though), and they prefer its scroll-wheel to the HTC S620's scroll-pad. Ho, and like all WinMob devices, it takes an eternity to boot ("it's no Symbian S60").
Other than that they spend most of their 9 minutes rambling, as they're basically discovering the device as they're shooting.
