Third party apps are bad, they'll break your phone and beat up your cat. If we allow third party apps on the iPhone the terrorists win. You don't want third party apps. I think this was just a way to dodge the question. I think their might be 3rd party apps, but they probably will need to be licensed by Apple or some other catch. And who knows when they will be released, it could be in 2 years.
