HTC Mogul to hit Sprint June 18?

The HTC Mogul's (aka PPC-6800's) release date on Sprint has been about as solid as a Vista (or Leopard) beta; first we heard May (and we all know how that turned out), then we heard October -- now we're hearing June. Yeah, June '07, as in "this month." That's a nice little surprise, is it not? Of course, dates are always subject to change, but seeing how we're spying some official-looking material now touting June 18 as the date (with an EV-DO rev. A upgrade dropping this fall), it's promising. MSRP for the device clocks in at $549.99, with a two-year saving you $150 to bring it down to $399.99. As expected, Windows Mobile 6 is on board -- thank goodness -- though it appears that retail channels won't get it until nearly a month later on July 16. Until then, we guess the website's the way to go.

Everyone is saying that is phone is already outdated. I really want to get this phone but if there is a better option just around the corner or already out where can i find it and what makes it so much better than this phone???

The p4550 is what is better then this. Close call though. If I didn't want a better GPS and have to deal with TeleNav i would get this one no doubt.

this phone has true GPS. The FCC let confidential HTC photos slip for a couple hours yesterday before reinstating confidentiality and there was definitely a dedicated GPS antenna on the Titan.

the p4550 is GSM so it will be a while if ever they will release it for Sprint.

it's odd that they picture shows it with wm5 and not wm6 like that slider offered by Dave. That makes me feel kinda uncomfortable.

I m a sprint customer unforunately i will leave them for the phone you know coming out june 29 cause they(sprint always late in technology t mobile and cingular have this thing long time ago so i m out and for you guys this is old news or old tech lol enjoy thank you A

The mogul is on sprint's website now but local stores (at least in my area - WI) don't have any phones yet. They weren't sure when but said "any day now"
