I do like the rolling camera and the the missing "huge" caller ID screen on the outside of the phone. I always hated those things. @Pablo: The internal screen on this thing, while also QVGA resolution, is substantially bigger than the SYNC. It's a thing of beauty. Then again, you're also trading the external color screen & music controls for a diminutive OLED display (which I prefer anyway).

Does it justify the price difference? Maybe not, but just wait a few months. I had this all figured out until now.
I was going to upgrade my phone in a month or so,
and I was fairly certain that I was going to pick up a SYNC.

Now, I'm torn.

I liked the idea of not even having to open my phone to chose a song with the whole external screen of the SYNC, but if the A717's inside is screen is better and there's a rotating camera, I don't know which to choose.

Suggestions and ideas?

I need a phone that will hang around with me until the 2G iPhone comes around...
