Peter Adderton out as Amp'd CEO
When a company files for Chapter 11, we figure that's often a strong indicator that a management change is in order; that's the situation MVNO Amp'd Mobile finds itself facing as of late, and the rumors that CEO Peter Adderton's days were thusly numbered have finally materialized into reality. mocoNews reports that the ex-chief is still Amp'd's largest single shareholder and maintains a position on the board, but President Bill Stone now finds himself with top billing on the company's management roster. Bill: best of luck, dude.[Via mocoNews]

Chester,
We can certainly understand your situation, but posts about Peter Adderton and Ampd Mobile go here.

The red amp'd razr has been deleted out of BB's system, and we just sent back all our regular gray amp'd razrs. Maybe motorola is calling in their debts?

Someone just called today again and left a message for me to call boost and request a $20.00 credit to get my $20.00 back.
Will you people please quit telling me that? I have done that many times. Do you really think doing it again will help! I just simply want someone to credit my money back. I have called Boost many times and have given the whole story as I will do again in this e-mail. I was told that it would take about 15 days for me to get my money returned. Well it's going to be approaching two months soon. You people have the whole story, why can't you make a simple phone call to the credit card department and find out what is going on and e-mail me back. Is that too difficult, what's the problem. You people don't need to talk to me any further; I don't have anything new to add to this problem. If I don't start getting some answers by e-mail soon, I will start sending out hard copies to any Boost or Sprint office address I can find in hopes to get some help.
On 6-20-07 I made two attempts to add $20.00 to my Boost phone using my computer and the bank card I have assigned to Boost. The $40.00 was taken out of my bank account, but was not credited to my Boost telephone. I was told that my credit card address was different that the one you had on file. Of course it was, I MOVED, but that's no reason not to credit it to my Boost account. If you people have the computers set up to monitor addresses, then also fix it not to take the money from the account if it isn't going to be credited to the telephone account, don't take the money and try to keep it. It was late in the evening so I had to wait until 6-21-07 to call Boost when they were open. I explained the problem to the assistant and she said refunding my $40.00 would not be a problem. Just a few days later on 6-25-07 I was credited $20.00 back to my bank account. Well that’s nice, but the problem is I didn’t get the other $20.00.
Before getting off the telephone with her I authorized another deduction of $20.00 from my account for my phone that worked ok. This makes $60.00 that has been taken from my account. Twenty of it was added to my Boost phone, twenty of it was refunded, and you still owe me $20.00. I was told my last $20.00 you owe me would be refunded within 15 days. I have been on the phone with multiple people and all I get is resistance. What’s going on, can’t someone just simply tell me if the order to the credit card department was submitted. Is that too difficult of a task?
I would like my $20.00 refunded or added to my Boost account so I can continue using my phone. When my money runs out I will not continue using this account, I will then be forced to contact the BBB.
