LG's LG-SV300 Wine Phone showcased at SEK2007
We're still a bit bemused at why the LG-SV300 gets the Wine Phone moniker, but even cellphone connoisseurs can appreciate a finely constructed handset photographed while receiving white glove treatment. The mobile was opened up and shown to the camera over at SEK2007, and interestingly enough, it looks like the enlarged buttons (and font, too) could hint that this device will be aimed at those with aging eyes (you know, the stereotypical "wine crowd"). Regardless of speculation, be sure to click on through for the pictures you're surely salivating over.

I guess the white gloves are necessary to keep fingerprints off this phone...
It's interesting that these buttons are called big, and the font big. Buttons on most phones are really too small. I think the reason 15% of people don't have cell phones isn't because they technophobes, but because cell phones are so small! Not just the buttons, but the phones generally. And the array of buttons on many cell phones is overwhelming! Is there any reason these things have to be so small?
I think the Korean companies are trying their hand at manufacturing phones that are more like the Japanese models in form factor. Of course a lot of the Japanese phones are squeezing VGA screens into those tall flips.
Hey, look- a magnifier button. Now which of the US CDMA carriers will get this one to attract the older crowd with? If the US doesn't get this model I foresee myself "sneaking" one onto Verizon (I'm not old, but I'm nearsighted and sometimes forget my glasses).
