New QWERTY slider from LG coming to Sprint?

QWERTY is a good thing for all our sore thumbs, so even if you're not into smartphones and all that, should just a decent thumb-board still gets you excited? Possibly, but if you're a Sprint fan, definitely. There are currently no slider handsets with full QWERTY goodness available from Sprint, but is word on the street is true, an LG unit may be up to bat soon. We're of the mind that a QWERTY non-smartphone would be a home run for Sprint, although availability is rumored for this model-less unit for Q4 of this year. The usual suspects on onboard: digicam (no rez available), Bluetooth, microSD and that nice slide-out texting interface. Unknowns? Screen resolution, digicam resolution and even EV-DO. Although, we gotta believe 1xRTT is dead with Sprint's newer phones.
Looks sexy. So now do I want a Mogul, this LG or should I wait for the Rev. A Sanyo with qwerty that is set for Q1 '08 release.. What a dilemma.

Nope, no links.. Just know it is in the pipeline. I'll be as anxious to see it as anyone.

oh wow. That's a quality phone for the Sprint lineup. Looks like they've gotten the "bring out cool phones and you'll get customers" memo. Actually they got it a little while ago, I just like seeing even more cool phones come out when not too long ago, their lineup suffered from a dearth of good options.
Looks like LG is going to go against the Vox. This phone does look pretty sexy.

What do you mean no QWERTY slider phones avail from Sprint. What about the HTC Mogel. Isn't that a slider?
Yeah and so was the 6700, 6600, i830.. But they are all pocket pcs... It is time to see some phone sliders with qwerty keyboards.

Wow I may have to wait for this Sanyo sounds nice. I was interested in the Katana DLX cause I now have the 8400 and it is the sucessor 8500. I have owned all Sanyo phones but even the Razr2 looks cool. My 8400 is fine and I don't really need a new phone yet so I may wait it out and see what this new Sanyo is. But the LG looks nice.

When does this phone come out?
I talked to a guy at the Sprint store in my town, and he said they have recieved preliminaries on the phone, and he called it the "LG 360". So its coming!!!
i cant wait until this phone comes out, im a heavy texter and this phone is right up my alley. i was going to get the upstage now but im waiting for this to come out
Every 1 keeps talking about a sanyo with qwerty board...does any 1 got a link to any pics or at least 2 read about it....i think somebody just made it up...I hope they do make something like dat cause all the phones i had and still own r sanyo u just cant go wrong...
