If you type in a SSN wrong during the credit check, it just sends the application to analyst review. Then a rep has to call in and verify the correct SSN before a deposit is returned. Only then will it offer to pay a deposit or do a Go Phone "Pick Your Plan." Unless you have really crappy credit (but somehow can afford an iPhone), you will not be able to set it up on prepaid.
