They're clearly aiming for the Blackberry market. That's never really taken off in the UK because Java games and MMS are HUGE. If Apple release this in the UK with just GPRS then it will be a huge mistake and their marketing guys all need firing. Sure Europeans are going to want their gadgets, but they are used to 3G and ritzier, heavily subsidized phones.
