Sprint's Wireless Evolution, we're still waiting

Remember this page brought to you by the good people at Sprint? Yeah, so do we, but it seems Sprint has forgotten the "Wireless Evolution" they had planned for Independence Day. To add to the confusion, the page has now gone AWOL and the Google-cached page we had bookmarked has also disappeared. We're thinking that maybe this was only some type of showy internal project never meant for public consumption, but if anybody has a clue, drop us a line.

not sure.. but i think it is because i didnt see it on the sprint site till july 3rd but yea hopefully that helps
maybe someone should contact a rep?
maybe they were talking about redesigning the website, getting rid of nextel, and changing their logo to "Sprint Ahead". or it could be just some marketting scam to catch people's attentions.
I thought that the last time this was posted I explained it. It is an internal training/marketing conference of sorts where the company sends reps to this thing and they get lecture based training on the data services and products Sprint offers.
Who sets up trainings/conferences on the 4th of July??
Yeah, I couldn't find one going on on the 4th. But it was rolled rolled out long before that. They were working on restructuring it for easy replication across the retail channel, so that roll out might've been the 4th.
UMMM>>>>engadget..are you guys slow..? didnt you all read the comments from the previous time you posted this..? from "Marshall @ Jun 13th 2007 9:11AM
Nope, its an internal training/marketing event we are having. Its not a big deal. They've already done it in a couple of markets. Ill try to find out where the one on the 4th is. But like I said its just internal training. Who gets ya'll this stuff without explaining what it is?"
???
Thats all it was...internal training.
Could it just be a new ad campaign for Power Vision?

Maybe we should call Sprint Customer care and after a 120 minute wait someone will pick up the phone, sound confused and then offer to transfer you to another number only to disconnect you, subsequently giving you an aneurysm.
Careful with those customer service calls. Don't want to end up getting your contract canceled.
Maybe it was the countdown for those cancellation letters
