I wondered the same. However, from PQDVD website, it only says "One click to unlock your iPhone. Use your iPhone as an iPod and PDA without signing up AT&T service."
So, does it unlock the iPod and PDA features only? Or does it unlock iPod AND OTHER features (what are the other features anyway)?
I believe this means you CAN NOT use the unlocked iPhone as a phone. Just a PDA, iPod, etc. So it becomes an expensive, if very nice PMP/PDA. Just not a phone. :-(
