My Moto v635 (yeah it's old) is a piece of crud because of the OS, it's a great phone but when I need to do something that's not related to making an outgoing call, the phone locks up at random times, the camera locks up many times while taking pics, even when I go to a low signal area my phone goes wacko and has hard times staying on. Motorola bet their farm entirely on the RAZRs, RAZRs are now heavily subsidized, while the rest of their stuff (RIZR, PEBL, ROKR) were all crap, and so hence what it is now.

Taking 2 years or more to fix the RAZRs crappy interface/OS is way too long a time.
