HTC Cavalier lands in retail as S630
the HTC Cavalier has arrived and can be had online for only $565 dollars -- yeah we're with ya, that's a bit steep. This is an ideal handset to replace an aging BlackJack and we -- and we're sure many of you -- hope it gets comfy in AT&T's stable in the coming months. If you just can't wait, kick that old nasty Excalibur to the curb and hit up the Expansys site before they're gone.

Man, I didn't realize how attractive my E61i is.
lol, no kidding...they obviously weren't trying to make a stylish device, which is what has made the blackjack so popular
So we meet again Sean... lol.
Why is that screenshot with it running WM5? The Cavalier is stated on HTC's website to come preloaded with WM6.

I'll stick with my $50 Dash w/ 1 yr contract :P
JA
How is this better than the Dash/S620?
HSDPA
Faster processor (2x) and the aforementioned 3G. Slightly better camera and other minor tweaks. But if you like your Dash, you'd probably like the upgraded processor and getting away from Edge.
I for one love my Dash having gotten it unlocked for use on AT&T. Now if the persistant rumors are true of it somehow landing on AT&T (not really sure why this rumor has legs since it is obviously the upgrade to the Dash on T-Mobile), I know what my next phone will be when it's time to upgrade.
So, uh....speaking of Blackjacks...whatever happened to those Relaunch Giveaways almost a month ago?
...Just Curious...
Anyway, that seems like an interesting device, but I'd probably get a case to shield my eyes from that design.
