
"Satisfied" iPhone 3GS owners
Of 200 iPhone 3GS users polled in August, 2009, 99 percent termed themselves "satisfied," with 82 percent saying they were "very satisfied."

ARGH... getting an error halfway through the update (0xE8000029, or something). Have to restore the iPhone.
... oh great... iTunes says the iPhone can't be restored (unknown error -50). So now I go from having a state-of-the-art phone to having a $600 brick.
Okay... apparently updating through an iPod dock is not good. I misplaced my iPhone dock during my last move, so I've been using an iPod dock until I find it. It syncs just fine through the iPod dock, but won't update software. I took it out of the dock and plugged in the cable straight, and the software update worked. Apparently the iPod dock is more than simply a passive piece of plastic.
what is it with people trying to use accessories that clearly are not made for the device? Do you put orange juice in your car and expect it to run?
