"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
Sounds like a sweet project to me. I dont know about internal and external huge displays like that, though. Seems like the rigidity and structure of the phone would suffer. But inside, replacing a keypad with a touchscreen is ingenious. Makes a whole new door open for intuitive user input, customizable "today" screens, and all sorts of user-related goodies. Of course the drawback is going to be whoever writes the software. Even the best interfaces can be completely ruined by crappy software running it. /$.02
