Be aware that there has been serious design flaw in E90 -series where the keybord is scratching the screen when lid is closed. I quess Nokia QA has failed big time.
it looks to me that there is a screen protector on that phone... which is something I would do to that screen, but that extra millimeter could be causing all the issues with scratches.
(notice the dirt around the edges of the screen... clear sign of screen protector.)
No it isn't. The text in finnish states that person had cleaned the screen with spray before taking the pictures, that's why there is some dust on the sides. Not a single case, lot's of more pictures about it in the net and people returning their phones.

The same thing happened to my Nokia N71. It's actually pretty bad and it's a well known problem with the N71's.
