I posted this on the latest news item about the 8820, but I'll try here. Don't the Blackberry's still end up going through the Blackberry servers at some point? Even if you're using wifi to connect, RIM is still managing your email right? Similar to how you can't connect to the internet at all on a Blackberry without a data plan.
That made sense to me, but can someone clarify?
