I also had a hacked iPhone and had to download the complete 92.1MB file because I had to completely restore my iPhone due to the hacks. It failed a few times (I got the same error and screenshot above that Engadget posted), and I thought I bricked it. I ran the installer again and it worked.I was able to choose the restore from the backup I had from earlier today. All of my stuff came back. My hacks were gone, but I was able to easily install them again.
