"Verizon promises 8GB of phone music storage this year, and 16GB in 2008. Most likely refers to removable storage via (micro)SDHC, since they mentioned a current 4GB cap, and don't offer any 4GB phones."
Incorrect. The LG enV, LG VX 8550, LG VX 8700, the LG VX 9400 and the Blackberry 8830 all support a 4 GB Micro SDHC card.
Thank you someone who finally knows what they are talking about. Your correct i own the Lg 8700 and it supports SDHC right out the box Some Env needs Software upgrades. Depending when you bought it. Im just waiting for the 8g microsd to come out now.
i'm thinking they meant 4 gb internal memory, not removable, hence why no phones at 4 gigs. they have phones that support 4 gigs of external, but nothing with 4 gigs internal, and thus more likely that the upgrades to 8 and 16 gigs would be sdhc, as encompass so dutifully posted.
