Most talented developers went to (sadly) Mobile Windows many years ago.
And now it is just too big gamble for them. Because heck the things are expensive. MSFT saturated market with PocketPCs - brining their prices down considerably, tapping into new development talents in emerging markets.
Palm lost it. And I doubt they would regain what they have lost: trust of market, trust of developers.
P.S. And what the heck of the response is that??? I have worked in many small/mid/big businesses. Saying that you have forwarded something to higher ups is as good as saying 'f*** off'. That means just another point during lunch conversation: "did you read the memo?" If the guys would have said "I have started drafting new business plan" - that might have meant something. Though I wouldn't be holding my breath: Palm to me with such high prices and backward technology was as good as non-existent anyway.
