Sprint slips some LG LX260 details
So the good news is that this upcoming LG LX260 for Sprint looks pretty trick from the microscopic image we've been able to grab -- nifty blue and black color scheme, QWERTY slide -- pretty much what we were expecting from the rendering floating around a while back. That's all well and good. What isn't good, though, is that Sprint's developer site also reveals the the device won't have anything more than 1xRTT to push bits and bytes around. Given the nifty form factor, EV-DO seems like a foregone conclusion to us, but we suppose that'll go a long way toward keeping pricing in the double digits on contract. Other juicy tidbits confirmed here include a 220 x 176 display, 64MB of RAM, 64MB of ROM with microSD expansion, and a 1.3 megapixel cam. Fourth quarter, here we come!

The phone has the soft rubber feel that the treo 755 has. It is actually much nicer than the images floating around. It will also launch in a white color. It can support up to a 6gb SD card. It is rumored that the price after a 2 year contract will be $49.99!!!! WOW!!!! It also has LIon battery.
So this is like a CDMA version of the LG F9200 with upgraded camera, display, and other stuff? It looks nice. I can't imagine that Sprint would leave out EV-DO, they are pushing their data services a lot nowadays.
Wtf is with no EV-DO?
With such retro-specs as this, you'd think this was one of Palm's products. When you speak of 'juicy tidbits', sorry, but they're not worth the squeeze.
Seems like a lg V slider (notice i didnt Env) cause of the downgraded features
except for the card and upped cam, i feel like i went 4 years back into history to a cingular phone launch. give me a break sprint & lg! can we come up with something just a little more updated than that? & no evdo? while we're at it, who even needs a screen? just put a nice numeric led on there, a slot for 4 AA's in the back, and this baby will be good to go!
It's like Verizon's VX9800/VX9900 (TheV, and enV, respectively), but a slide instead of a flip. Well hopefully the slide doesn't turn out like some of the other's they've made.
And no EV-DO
