LG enV gets tough in olive drab
So much for any color approaching normalcy, apparently! Following the original pedestrian scheme of silver and black and its wacky, wild bright orange cousin, Verizon and LG are apparently prepping a dark green VX9900 enV that looks fit to take on a textual sortie or two. No word on a release date yet, but frankly, we're not too worked up about it.

available september 2 exclusively at circuit city
Ooo! Halo 3 edition
Release is September 2nd as Circuit City EXCLUSIVE!!!
tha is a ugly color, i thought it wood be lime green!
Available in September, no October, no Q1 2008, oops, 2009 ...
i'm not even gonna lie, it's pretty sweet looking...
all the 6th grade girls have the orange, while i'll rep the olive green haha
I think the orange is cool....I'll get be getting that for my son in a few weeks.....
This green is down right fugly....
So instead of new phones.. we get the same one in different colors? Awesome! I can't wait until the purple polka dot StarTAC comes out! While others are like "hey, check out my sweet 8925 or 6800"... I'll be all like "bro.. purple StarTAC pwns all cause 'it's the network' ".
Awesome. This dude drinks so much VZW haterade that something as simple as releasing a new color of an existing phone sends him off on an anti-VZW rant.
Meanwhile, completely overlooking the fact the other carries often release the same phone in different colors too.
Is it my eyes, or the phone seems huge compare to the screen?
Is it a 1" screen? :P
Well, it's certainly look like a 1998 military phone... maybe retro people will like it :P
Yes, the front has a very small screen. But, if you haven't seen the enV before, it flips up and reveals a larger inside screen with a full qwerty keyboard.
Well, I saw this, but still not very useful... I mean... well ok this have 2 screen, but one is tiny, the other is not especially big... and overall, the phone is big and bulky... Look like a bad copy of nokia navigators.... (but well ok, navigators cost 5 times the price).
I think the HTC design is far more effective. 1 big screen, virtual touch screen for numbers, and you can bring the full keyboard when you need...
Still both have awful OS on it, for me it's really important, so I go for Blackberry anyway :P
i like it. the orange is too takky (spell check?), but the silver cant take as long of videos and this is in sweet Halo 3 edition colors!!
One more shot with it open, although it looks just like the other enV's opened:

They should add a camo skin for the military and even a Halo 3 stickers for the fans.
