HTC's HT1100 (Nike) with TouchFLO lives... on Japan's DoCoMo
There it is, the HTC HT1100, aka Nike, aka the Touch II WinMo 6 Professional slider we've been anticipating. This FOMA handset packs HSDPA (naturally, for DoCoMo) and GSM for international roaming while representing HTC's second handset to feature the TouchFLO interface. The QVGA display has been trimmed back to 2.6-inches while the sliding keypad chunks it up a bit to 112 x 51 x 16.9-mm / 130-grams. 802.11a/b/g WiFi, SIP support, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera (with a 1 megapixeler up front), FM tuner (?), and microSD round out the specs. So it's official, now we just need a release a bit say, closer to home.

The size and weight you mention is for the other model introduced - Fujitsu F1100. No size is mentioned for HTC Touch II.
Computerworld are reporting that the HTC 1100 is actually slimmer / lighter than the Touch 1 because they have removed WiFi. Don't know who is right. They don't mention the slider though.
Mog
I'd give ANYTHING for the regular Touch, but with QWERTY.
IMHO a number pad is useless... its the kbrd that is really important
Mog, I've now read the article you have referred to. They actually state the dimensions as 107 x 55 x 16.5 mm and a weight of 120 g, which is thicker and a bit heavier than the original Touch.
I don't think removing WiFi will do that much to the thickness. After all, the WiFi chip is already integrated in the chipset used and the antenna needed shouldn't be that big. After all Samsung P520 has WiFi and is only 8.9 mm thick (and pretty d*mn small overall). The slider mechanism should on the other hand make it thicker. My guess is that the operator have requested that it should be removed. Let's hope it's included in the official HTC version of this handset.
it should be noted that this phone has not yet been released here in japan. i went and asked a docomo rep and he said it is coming out here about 10/10ish.
I've read in many other places that the Slide version (or HTC touch Dual) does NOT include wifi.
Is there wifi on the japanese version?
