HTC S620 finally sees Windows Mobile 6 update
As promised back in April of this year -- well, the ROM upgrade was promised the date was the fuzzy bit -- the S620 is finally ready for its big day via a Windows Mobile 6 update. All you need to do to let your device soak up the glory is to hit up the HTC site, sign up for the free HTC e-Club membership -- if you haven't already -- and follow the instructions for your device. Good luck with this and remember, when flashing your handset everything will be wiped, so back it up before you get started.[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]

This update has been available for a while for the S620 aka T-Mobile Dash. Just go to T-Mobiles website. The new software isn't that much better either.
The T-Mobile ROM for the Dash has been available for some time but the unbranded HTC S620 ROM did no become available until this weekend. Upgraded my phone and although the differences are minor, they are welcome enhancements.
Hello,
I have an o2 XDA Cosmo.
o2 in Germany say they will never offen an upgrade for this phone. I tried to install the T Mobile Dash ROM but failed due to the IMEI-Code.
Do you think I can install this ROM File from HTC on the o2 XDA Cosmo (it is an HTC S620 but branded)?
Can you make this ROM File available to me (www.rapidshare.com or something?)
I've seen a WM6 ROM available at demonoid.com as a torrent. It's been there for a while, so I guess you have to register to get the link, though.
I can't download it from HTC website too, so I've tried this one on my Telecom Italia S621. I can't assure you that this ROM is reliable, nor it will work with your Cosmo, because I'm still experiencing some problems (sometimes the device will go "crazy" and will start typing things on its own, and the left context button will act like it's "pressed" all the time and won't respond to any inputs. Under this situation, when I try to reboot it, it will lock and keep on trying to reboot. A workaround I've found to this is wait for some hour and try to turn it on again. Not the best solution, I know). Any help appreciated.
