Meaning if you called TMo and genuinely have problems with the device and have had it replaced a few times, TMo would replace it with a phone with similar functions which for the SDA case is the TMo Dash.

I would assume if you shelled out $70 bucks for this relic and have problems (which I had quite a few) TMo might replace it with a Dash, some form of a BlackBerry, or a Wing.

Recently I had a string of bad luck with the refurbished MDAs they kept sending me as replacements, that they finally gave up and gave me a new BlackBerry 8800.

So this isnt a bad deal because if the MDA starts breaking down and you get it replaced enough you might get a phone that is worth a lot more than you paid in the beginning. Either way though, the MDA was an awesome phone which I still do miss. As great as the Wing is, it is overpriced for a MDA that just went to fat camp IMO.

wako

Comments on T-Mobile inexplicably brings back MDA

Response to AT&T's pending launch of HTC "Tilt"?

Kevin

Comments on T-Mobile inexplicably brings back MDA

I don't understand why, rather than, y'know, linking to the material in question, Engadget writers prefer to link to Engadget keyword searches so that we can read all about the Engadget articles of yore instead of finding the $79.99 MDA deal. Tmo/HTC is already gettin the free advertising of this news simply being posted for all to see in the first place.
