HP's iPAQ 610 gets demonstrated on video

Those hoping to get to know HP's iPAQ 600 series a bit better can start celebrating, as the folks over at Notebooks were able to sit down with Raj Bhavani, an iPAQ product manager, and record a brief demonstration describing its features. Notably, the built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, HSDPA, click-wheel, three-megapixel camera, integrated GPS, and Windows Mobile 6 operating system were all highly praised, but the lackluster 320 x 240 resolution display looked to be a (critical) weak point. Nevertheless, the device does look pretty sharp (or maybe we're just suckers for all that connectivity), so be sure and click through for a look at the interview. 
I have to say I am impressed with this device! This may be my next phone!

Did i hear correct that it only has an 8 hour battery life?
At 800 dollars n no vga screen is goin to be quite a setback. apart from those loyal ipaq users, i wld say hp is too slow in capturing the market.
This looks the business!
• Great feature list (hard pressed to find better)
• Great to see it has a Numeric pad (it's a phone not a UMPC - although only just)
• a whole 8 hours battery life - same as my 2 year old HTC, which doesn't do half what this can do.
HP seem to have produced a well rounded and well finished product - finally getting back to the top of the game.
One issue that springs to mind is that the smartTouch wheel doesn't seem to work like a D-pad (no up-down-left-right-centre clicks) but I hope that could be resolved one day with a firmware fix. The ipod-like scrolling is great though.
I'm in Europe - Where/When can I get one?
