although it's a *great* phone, that $700 price tag on the N95 is starting to seem pretty ridiculous right now. i wonder what it will drop to. (and yes i know it has lots of features the iphone doesn't. but still.)
According to JP Morgan the manufacturing cost for N95 is about 220€-260€, while Jobs pays 200$ for 8GB iPhone. Nokia has plenty of room as well to drop the price if they want to.
How much is that in US dollars? Also, is it the same for the US version? They did have to adhere to our frequencies; wouldn't it cost more if they weren't producing as many as the European ones?
