Did T-Mobile Germany really leak the 3G, 16GB iPhone? Doubtful.
So you may or may not have seen the above supposedly leaked German T-Mobile ad floating around the internets today, which outlines a new iPhone featuring not only HSDPA, but double the current device's capacity (16GB), all for a paltry €499 (about $700 US) when released on November 12th. Is it possible? Sure, anything's possible, and these guys even show off an iPhone with German-translated icons. Still, we're not convinced. What's more likely, that Apple, which managed to keep AT&T almost totally in the dark right up until launch day, really sealed the deal with T-Mobile on a new iPhone that just happened to get leaked more than a month in advance? Or that this image -- a ridiculously easy photoshop job -- is every bit as fake as the Ich Lüge bullets from Heathers?

The fact is says iPod instead of iPhone is a dead giveaway it is a fake.
I don't think Apple would want their only European distributor to get the product name wrong!
I think the same its says ipod apple wouldn't want people to be mistaking their products... i know don't it just smells fishy to me.... it may be done for the simple reason someone who hates iphone because of the recent price reduction and they are trying to make apple lose some sale on iphone.... it just seens really weird and the other thing is if it is real why would apple want to pisse american customers more than they are right now??? apple also said that is the line that they are bringing for the holidays... i don't think 3g is going to be out until next year...
hi, i'm new to this web site, just checking in see if the new guy can win any thing, thanks
Good morning to all Engadget-Users from Germany,
for me and many other users in the message-boards this look like a fake – as you said some photoshop and an hour of work! Enough to make the german iPhone freaks go crazy ;-)
I marked some things on the image – if you like check out my blog

Hope you all can understand the german words!
Hehe, i'm pretty sure it's fake now that i've seen that.
I think the government should ban Photo Shop.
shopped, pixels, etc
erm - its not beyond the realms of possibility the image was resized - hence pixelated.;) I agree this image seems a little fishy but your point doesnt really stand up.
Damn it! I thought the Ich Lüge bullets were real!
You've raped the memories of my teenage years!

For all of you "nay-sayers", it is true. Deutsche Telekom will be releasing the iPhone for T-Mobile Germany, but they have claimed that it will not be usable in the U.S.
