If there's one manufacturer you
can't fault for failing to bring 3G devices to AT&T in full force, it's gotta be Samsung. These guys go all the way back to the very beginning (remember the
ZX10?) and have managed to keep a pretty steady stream of handsets in the pipe through to the present day, most recently offering up the attractive (and mighty slim, may we add)
A717 and A727. That ain't all for the A7x7 series, though: as we'd mentioned before, there's an
A737 in the pipe; since the series already has a flip and a candybar, this one's unsurprisingly a slider. phoneArena's scored an alleged shot of the phone, and although it appears to be a touch thicker than its siblings, that little indiscretion is made good for with an unapologetic red / black color scheme, a QVGA display (so we're told), and very likely HSDPA. No word on an exact release date for this sucker just yet.

That display looks really small. Less likely to be QVGA with a less than 2" screen.

The Samsung A736 has shown up on Fido's download page. It is presumably the Rogers version of the A737, and will likely feature a forward facing camera for video calling.
I have the current official release dates for AT&T. The phone comes in three different colors, and while only 1 is available on launch, the release of the others are just a week later.
Blue: October 16th
Orange: October 23rd
Lime: October 23rd
why are the cameras dropping, we finally started getting 2 megapixels, the rest the world is on to 5 and were going backward to 1.3?

I just bought the a737 blue today at an AT&T dealer.
The model wasn't on the shelf display. The rep. brought it out for me and she said blue was the only color available as of now.
I have a month to trade it in though - so I hope the candy red comes out within that time.
yeahh wtf, its just about a month later since the last comment (rooby's comment) and im still waiting on teh candy red 737, does anyone know when its coming out? If you do, please comment.
my wife just got an orange a737, and i can't get her to pay attention to me anymore.
