That's the biggest problem with AT&T. They take forever to launch the damn phones. No other carrier has that problem. Same with the Eten X800 and the 8925. They're Windows Mobile phones. They can't say it's because of training because they all share the same basic OS. Verizon even slapped on an extra UI which their CSR had to be trained to use and shipped the q9m faster. If it wasn't for the price drop that comes with an upgrade I would have gotten an unlocked version of the x800 by now.
Obviously you've never used the phone or don't know what a UI is. They did added a full menu system which AT&T isn't doing with any of their Windows Moible phones. Here's a link to a few pics of the UI: http://gizmodo.com/photogallery/MotoQ9mHandsOn/ They created their own music player, video player, and VCast UI (to name a few). Other buttons link to integrated WM6 applications. That's my point. They did all this and released the phone faster than AT&T (who wasn't going to do much to change the feel of WM6).
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.

VZW didn't slap on a "UI", they simply added a second "home" screen option.

No other carrier?!? You're obviously not waiting for the i760 on VZW.
